To ensure the required functionality, contact the telephone
provider for the available protocols and the concrete phone
numbers.
Subsection “5.3.2 Selection of modem and provider“ gives an
overview of the available choices in terms of modem tech-
nology and protocols. For selected countries, a list of the ac-
cess numbers to be set on operating page “Phone numbers“
is given. Subsection “5.3.3 Operating page “Modem“ “ de-
scribes the required configuration of the modem.
In section “5.4 Sending alarms“, the software settings re-
quired for the different alarm choices are described in a
number of steps.
