3.1.3 Electrical
installation
The following installation work and checks must be carried
out
prior
to setting up the plant:
•
Connect to AC 230 V mains voltage:

The
controllers
¾
The Batibus modules
¾
The modem’s power pack
¾
The AC 24 V transformers
•
Connect to AC 24 V:
¾
The OCI600 central communication unit
¾
The AEW2.1 pulse adapter
¾
The QAB30.600 temperature sensor
¾
Any RWI65… ventilation controllers
RWI65... ventilation controllers must be powered by separate
transformers since these products require galvanic isolation.
•
Lay the LPB cables to the OCI600 and the peripheral
devices, but do not yet connect the peripheral devices to
the bus
3.2 Switching on the central bus
power supply
1. Switch on the central bus power supply to the OCI600. If
there are several OCI600, select
one
of them. The bus
power supply to the OCI600 is to be activated on line
number 7 of operating card 3.
2. Check the bus voltage at the OCI600. It must be a
minimum of 13.5 V with no load connected.
Check the bus voltage at the relevant device each time an
additional device is connected. It must be a minimum of
9.5 V (always make the measurement when there is no com-
munication on the bus).
