Communication and delivery of alarms

When an analog modem is installed, the Universal Computer

Protocol (UCP) can be used for SMS messages, or the Telo-

cator Alphanumeric Input Protocol (TAP) for SMS. TAP is

used for pager messages.

In the case of an ISDN modem, UCP is used for SMS mes-

sages, or TAP for SMS. TAP is used for pager messages.

OCI600 does not support the original AT+ Protocol of GSM

modems for sending SMS and pager messages.

With GSM modems, the UCP of an

analog connection

can

be used for SMS messages, or TAP can be used for SMS of

analog connection.

For pager messages, the TAP num-

ber of an

analog connection

is used.
