Note that, on the installation menu pages, the installation button is not avail-
able if any required software if missing (refer to Fig. 5 at p. 22).

. Choose the destination location
Unless you specify another directory, the files are installed in
C:\Program files\DMS8000
(default folder).
Note that, in this document, the installation folder location will be referred as
<installation folder>
.
Be aware that
Program files
may spell differently depending on the national
edition of Windows.

. Security settings
Select one of the following options (see Fig. 31):
Standard
security:
The internal user is automatically created with the default name
DMS8000_PROC (see also 3.2.2 at p. 18).
Composer Security is disabled and can therefore be used by any
user.
Advanced
security (see Fig. 32):
The internal username and password can be specified as desired.
Here you can define any existing Windows username and password
you want to use.
Composer security can be enabled (it is disabled by default) to re-
move the access restrictions. If security is enabled, authorised users
must be configured using the Composer User Manager as described
in the Composer Technical Manual, document no.A6V10062401.
If disabled during software setup, Composer can enabled by adding
one or more authorised users in the User Manager. Note that enabling
security is irreversible, and only a new software installation can disable
it again.
