Start-Up of Multiline System
•
Calculate the max. power from the kV and mA values measured:
Pmax = kV x mA (kW) ± 10 %.
•
Enter the mA value measured and the power value (kW) calculated in the generator test
protocol.
•
Remove the cassette holder.
Checking the Fluoroscopy Timer

Switch fluoroscopy
ON
. The timer will begin to run.
•
Check whether the buzzer sounds after 4.5 minutes of fluoroscopy. This value can be
changed to a country-specific value (refer to RXL2-120.034... .).
•
Check whether fluoroscopy automatically switches off after the programmed fluoro time
(5 min.) has expired (no switch-off with software version VE00J).
•
The buzzer can be reset at the Operating PC by pressing ESC prior to it being blocked.
•
Switch the system off.
•
Disconnect the oscilloscope.
•
Remove the mAs meter and reinstall the jumper on board D220.
Checking and Adjusting the Shock Wave Head

Switch the system
ON
.
•
Remove the covers (rubber plugs) of the three holes in the upper shock wave head
panel.
•
Move the shock wave head into the coupling position.
•
Attach the universal adjustment device to the shock wave head.
•
Switch fluoroscopy
ON
. Check to see if the sphere remains aligned with the cross hairs
in the + 30° and -10° positions.
•
Refer to the Shock Wave Head Adjustment Instructions RXL2-120.071.01... if correction
is needed.
•
Remove the universal adjustment device.
•
Reinsert the rubber plugs unless the shock wave pressure test is being performed.
