ECOMMSERVER
The eCommServer will be able to operate when a new ADSL module is connected to one of
the following systems: HiPath V 7.0 (HiPath 1120 and HiPath150/1190).
The eCommServer will not be supported by old modules or when a new module is connected
to HiPath V6.0 or previous.
Users will no longer access the eCommServer directly. The eCommServer will be used via
system applications, which will make them transparent to the user.
The CommServer installed in the PC is not used to connect the HiPath V7.0 via the new ADSL
module. Connection is made using the eCommServer.
The application will point directly to the IP of the new module, as in a remote connection. Each
application will be configured to access the eCommServer. For example, configuration in the
Manager tool is made via the Tool bar: Tools\Communication Server Configurations.
