If you use the antenna integrated into the Gigaset SE681 WiMAX:

Position the Gigaset SE681 WiMAX directly in a window, so that the side with the
LEDs and connectors is pointing into the room, towards you. Wherever possible,
position the Gigaset SE681 WiMAX on one of the upper storeys. Note that obstruc-
tions, particularly doors and wall coverings containing metal can affect data trans-
mission.
