Restarting and resetting the Gigaset SE681 WiMAX
Rebooting the Gigaset SE681 WiMAX

Briefly press the reset button (for less than 5 seconds). The configuration settings
will remain, the Gigaset SE681 WiMAX will be restarted.
You can also restart the Gigaset SE681 WiMAX by briefly cutting the power supply.
Returning the Gigaset SE681 WiMAX to factory settings
If you no longer have access to your Gigaset SE681 WiMAX, you can also restore factory
settings with the reset button on the back of the device.

Press and hold the reset button for more than 5 seconds.

RSSI
LEDs will begin to flash green. The configuration settings are returned to the
factory settings and the Gigaset SE681 WiMAX is restarted. This process takes about
25 seconds. The Gigaset SE681 WiMAX will then automatically try to set up a connec-
tion to a WiMAX network; depending on the connection quality, 0 to 4
RSSI
LEDs will
permanently light up green.
Factory settings
After restoring the factory settings, your Gigaset SE681 WiMAX will be in its original
condition:
The reset button is located inside the Gigaset
SE681 WiMAX so that it cannot be pressed
accidentally. If you need to restart or reset the
Gigaset SE681 WiMAX, use a thin object such as
an opened up paper clip.

When the factory settings are restored, all personal settings are deleted.
