11.7.2 CCB to Modulator
The CCB Mode 00 response data to the Modulator is shown below, where the Hub/Modulator boards monitor
response bit 2 to determine the operational integrity of each power cell. The CCB indicates a cell fault condition by
setting the Fault flag (bit 2) in the Mode “00” CCB response message. When this condition occurs, the outputs of all
installed cells are disabled via dedicated hardware on the Modulator.
Table 11-6: Mode 00 Data from CCB to Modulator
Bit
Description
0
0 -> Mode definition bit 0
1
0 -> Mode definition bit 1
2
Cell Fault detected by CCB
3
Cell DC Bus Voltage Low (Warning)
4
Cell Temperature Feedback (pwm at 600 Hz car-
rier)
5
Cell Control Input Power Valid
6
Cell Bypass Enabled
7
Odd Parity Bit
Note
: All current Harmony Drives use the Cell Bypass Enabled Indicator (bit 6) to determine proper
settings of the Voltage Regulator circuit on the Power Interface board.
