2.3 Detection range – model with 2.20 m lens
The
motion detector attachments ‘Komfort’ 2.20 m have a
detection range with an aperture of 180° in three levels (Fig. 5).

approx. 12 m x 12 m
Size of the detection field for an installation height of 1.10 m
approx. 6 m x 6 m
Important:
The detection levels of the
motion detector attachments ‘Kom-
fort’ with 2.20 m lens are inclined downwards (Fig. 6). Make
sure the sensor lens is not hit by direct sunlight. The sensor
may otherwise be irreparably damaged by high thermal energy.
The range varies with installation heights other than 2.20 m.
Greater heights correspond to a longer range. It should be
noted, however, that the energy radiated by a thermal source
farther afield is possibly not sufficient to trigger the
motion
detector attachment ‘Komfort’.
