12.3 Connection to LMS
Fig. 22 and Fig. 23 show how to connect the GW-21 UARTs 3,4, 5, 6 on the screw ter-
minal of the connection board to the LMS for a 9 pin connector and a 25 pin connector
respectively.
Fig. 24 and Fig. 25 show how to connect the GW-21 UARTs 1 and 2 on the two DB9
connectors of the connection board to the LMS for a 9 pin connector and a 25 pin con-
nector respectively.
If there is only one LMS operating station, it can be connected to any UART among
those available. However, if there are two Operating Stations, they must be connected
to UARTs 1 and 2.
