Troubleshooting
On problems with the communication to the control units:
§
First check if the baud rates and the subsystem’s protocols of the gateway are set up
correctly (see Sections 4.2.1 and 5 of this manual).
§
Check if the connections of the gateway to the monitoring system (PC or GW-20) and
to the control unit have been implemented in the way described in Sections 6.1 and
6.2 of this manual.
If the red LED on the CPU board blinks fast (4 Hz):
§
there could be a configuration error - check carefully the configuration you set.
or
§
there is a download in progress. Wait till the download ends
If the red LED on the CPU board blinks slow (1 Hz):
§
the RAM is fault - call for technical assistance
If the green LED on the CPU board does not blink
(it either permanently ON or OFF)
§
there is a general failure - call for technical assistance
