Accessing the video streams

This chapter explains how to access the video streams through web browsers,
RTSP players, 3GPP-compatible mobile devices. For accessing the video streams
via SIEMENS digital recorders SISTORE MX HVR/NVS, please refer to the
respective manuals.

10.1 Via the CCIC1410 Installation Wizard

Open the CCIC1410 Installation Wizard (see chapter 8.2).

Double click a device in the device list.

The CCIC1410 Homepage appears.

Choose the menu item

Live Player Web

The Live Player shows the stream of the CCIC1410 network camera.

10.2 Via Internet

Open the CCIC1410 Homepage (see chapter 9.1).

Choose the menu item

Live Player Web

The Live Player shows the stream of the CCIC1410 network camera.

10.3 Using RTSP players

10.3.1 Viewing

MPEG4 streaming media

To view the MPEG4 streaming media using RTSP players, you can use one of the
following players that support RTSP streaming:

Quick Time Player

Real Player

Launch an RTSP player.

Choose File > Open URL.

An URL dialog box will pop up.

Type the URL command in the text box:

rtsp://<ip address>:<rtsp port>/<RTSP Streaming access
name for stream1 or stream2>

The RTSP (Real-Time Streaming Protocol) controls the delivery of
streaming media. By default, the port number is set to

For example:

The URL for requesting mpeg4 stream 1 is

rtsp:192.168.0.10:554/livestream

The URL for requesting mpeg4 stream 2 is

rtsp:192.168.0.10:554/livestream2
