Direct access
via address
Three different addresses can be used:
·
CSX number
·
Plan number
·
Zone/address
This method can only be used if you know the address you need. For example, it can be indicated
on the display, stated on the detectors or read out of the level plans.
The availability of address information on the display can be configured by the service engineer.
Example
A zone is to be switched off: It's CSX number is 01/003/006/001.
1.
You go to the direct access menu needed by pressing the following softkeys:
<Operate..>
t
<Direct access..>
t
<Enter LOGICAL ADDRESS (CSX)..>
2.
The CSX number must be entered in response to the following message:
Input CSX no.
AA/SSS/ZZZ/EEE
v
(The cursor moves automatically
01/003/006/___
each time a number is entered.)
3.
Once the input is complete, press the
<Jump to>
softkey or press
<
3
>
. The node selected and
all the functions available appear on the display.
4.
Now continue by selecting the
<Zone -> OFF>
and
<OFF>
softkeys.
Direct access
using message
We would recommend using this method when there is a message indicating an abnormal status
in one of the 4 message categories (alarm, fault, Isolation, Information).
This is the fastest access method.
Example
A switched off zone is to be switched on. It has produced a message of the 'Switch-off' category:
1.
Use the
<Isolation>
button to select this message (you may need to scroll down if there are
several messages).
2.
Select
<Functions for sel. message..>
softkey: All the functions available appear on the dis-
play.
3.
The zone can now be switched on by selecting the
<ON/OFF functions..>
and
<Zone -> ON>
softkeys.
