Main menu
The main menu consists of up to 6 predefined softkeys. One of these is the navigation softkey
<Escape>
, which takes you back to the primary menu. The other 5 softkeys can be used to ac-
cess all the system functions available.

Sub-menu
Softkeys which are followed by two dots (..) take you to a sub-menu. Both the primary menu and
the main menu may feature softkeys for executable functions and softkeys for sub-menus.
Sub-menus have a hierarchy structure. This produces a menu tree.
Menu
extension
If too many functions need displaying on one and the same hierarchical level, the menu can be
extended. But this is not the same thing as a sub-menu because here all the softkeys are at the
same hierarchical level.
Status
dependency
The menu only shows permitted functions. It is therefore dependent on the status of the corre-
sponding system part, e.g. zones of a section.
