COMMISSIONING
Changing the measuring mode
Depending on the measurement type of the pressure transmitter, it is necessary to switch
between gauge pressure measurement and absolute pressure measurement in the Flow-X
flow computer.

Go to menu item “Configuration/Run/Pressure”.

Change the value for “Meter pressure input units” to “absolute” or “gauge”, depending
on the transmitter configuration.

If anything is unclear, check the transmitter configuration.
Note: The reference value of the ambient pressure is 1.01325 bar (a).

Temperature transmitter
Checking the communication status

Go to menu item “Communication/Temperature Transmitter/Temperature
Communication”.

Check the “Communication status”.
When the “Communication Status” is set to “OK”, the correct device ID is already set in
the flow computer.
Changing the device ID

Go to menu item “Communication/Temperature Transmitter/Temperature Communica

tion”.

Change the “HART slave ID” to the device ID set in the device.

Check the communication status again.
4
Go to menu item “Live Values/Run”.
5
Check that the Flow-X flow computer receives data from the temperature transmitter
under “Meter temperature”.
