1. INSTALLATION
1.1 INTRODUCTION
1.1.a. PURPOSE OF THE MANUAL
The purpose of this manual is to provide the instructions necessary for the correct operation,
maintenance and installation of the
accessory . If the machine is resold, hand this manual to the
new owner . This manual assumes that the technicians are in possession of all the knowledge
necessary for the identification and maintenance of rims and tyres. Technicians must also have a
thorough knowledge of the functions and safety characteristics of all the specific tools used (such
as the rack, lift or jack), and a sufficient understanding of all manual or electric tools necessary to
be able to work in safety.
The following sections of this manual contain detailed information regarding the accessory, op-
erating procedures and maintenance. Italics are used to refer to specific parts of this manual that
offer additional information or clarification.
These references must be read in order to obtain additional information about the instructions.
The accessory must only be used by qualified, specifically trained technicians. The owner or man-
agement is exclusively responsible for storing the documentation relative to qualified personnel.
Additional copies of this manual and the documentation enclosed with the machine may be
requested to the
constructor , specifying the machine type and serial number.
