1.5. PRELIMINARY CHECKS
Before starting work, carefully check that all the components of the PT 150 E - and parts
in rubber and plastic in particular - are correctly fitted, in good condition and in proper
working order. If damage or excessive wear is found during the inspection phase, replace
or repair the component immediately regardless of the amount of damage or wear.
1.6. DURING USE
Stop using the PT 150 E immediately if you notice any unusual noise or vibration, if a
component or system is not functioning correctly or if you notice any other abnormal
behaviour.
• Identify the cause and implement all the necessary corrective measures.
• Contact your supervisor if necessary.
Make sure that all other people are positioned at least 6 metres (20 feet) from the machine.
To stop the machine under emergency conditions:
• disconnect the power supply plug;
• interrupt the compressed air supply by disconnecting the supply pipe.
2. TRANSPORT, STORAGE AND HANDLING
Conditions for transporting the machine
The PT 150 E must be shipped in its original packing crate and stowed in the position indicated
on the crate itself.
