Jumpers
FSB Speed Auto Configuration Setting (JP1)
MV18/MV19 provides jumper JP1 to configure front side bus at 66MHz,
100MHz, and 133MHz. Inserting mini-jumper caps on JP1 pin 5-6, pin 7-8 to
identify automatically the FSB speed.
Default
Set FSB hardware jumper
to Auto. (default)
When FSB config. is
default
(Auto), the user may adjust CPU Host Clock on
each FSB from Frequency/Voltage Control of BIOS Setup program.
For experienced users, MV18/MV19 mainboard provides an alternative
hardware configuration function to adjust front side bus manually. Before
you adjust FSB frequency by jumper, you need to remove jumper caps from
JP1 pin 5-6 and pin 7-8, and then insert jumper caps to the porition which
follow the steps outlined below:
Manual
Set FSB hardware jumper to 66MHz.
Set FSB hardware jumper to 100MHz.
Set FSB hardware jumper to 133MHz.
