Internal Peripheral Connectors
Enhanced IDE and Floppy Connectors (IDE1/IDE2 & FLP1)
FB54 mainboard features two 40-pin dual-channel IDE device connectors
(IDE1/IDE2), providing support for up to four IDE devices, such as CD-ROM
and Hard Disk Drive (HDD). This mainboard also includes one 34-pin floppy
disk controller (FDC) to accommodate the Floppy Disk Drive (FDD). More-
over, this mainboard comes with one 80-pin ATA 100/66 ribbon cable to
connect IDE HDD, and one 34-pin ribbon cable for FDD connection.
Important:
Ribbon cables are directional; therefore, connect the red
cable stripe to the same side.
