IR Connector (J4)
If you have an Infrared device, this mainboard can implement IR transfer
function. To enable the IR transfer function, follow these steps:
IR Pin Assignments:
1=VCC
2=VCC
3=IRRX
4=GND
5=IRTX
Step 1.
Attach the 5-pin infrared device cable to J4 connector.
(Refer to the above diagram for IR pin assignment.)
Step 2.
Configure the Infrared transfer mode in the UR2 Mode field of
integrated Peripherals menu in BIOS Setup. This mainboard
supports IrDA, ASKIR, Normal transfer modes.
Wake-on LAN Connector (J16)
Attach a 3-pin connector from the LAN
card which supports the Wake-On-LAN
(WOL) function. This function lets users
wake up the connected system through
the LAN card.
