Warranty
AMS Homecare Canada Inc. (“Distributor’) warrants its electronic scooters and
Powerchairs ('product') against certain defects in materials and workmanship from
the date of purchase by the end user, and subject to certain conditions and
exclusions as defined below. Proof of purchase by way of bill of sale is required for
return authorizations and for activation of Warranty. Customer should take the time
to read the following terms and conditions under which the Distributor agrees to
provide certain repair services.
1. Structural frame components, including platform, front fork, and frame
welds, are warranted for the lifetime of the product to the original owner.
2. To present a claim, the Customer shall deliver the defective part for
exchange to an Authorized AMS Homecare Canada Inc. dealer.
3. The Warranty is for the replacement or repair, at the option of AMS
Homecare Canada Inc., of defective parts only, but does not cover any
labor charges including, but not limited to, charges incurred for installation
of replacement parts, or additional fees that may be imposed by the
dealer or service agent.
4. The Warranty replacement parts are under warranty from the date of
purchase of the original 'product', and not from the date of part
replacement.
5. This Warranty covers the drive train (including the transaxle, motor and
brake) in the following way:

Controllers/
Power Seat Motor/
Transaxle/
Brake
Battery
Charger
Batteries
Scooters Lifetime 12 Months 18 Months 12 Months No Warranty
Powerchairs Lifetime 12 Months 18 Months 12 Months No Warranty
Parts - 90 Day warranty on non-original parts only
