Free-Wheeling Your
Powerchair
In the event of a fault or battery failure, the motors/gears may be disengaged
allowing the Powerchair to be “Freewheeled” and manually moved.

To switch to “Freewheel” mode, locate levers.
See Photo # 5
above. The two
levers, one on each side of the machine, are fitted with yellow capped tips and are
pulled back approximately 7½ cm (3”) to disengage the motor/gears and allow
“freewheel”. To re-engage motors/brakes, push both levers forward.
WARNING:
ALWAYS DISENGAGE THE
FREEWHEELING DEVICE WHEN NO
LONGER REQUIRED. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY
RESULT IN INJURY!
