Charging Your Powerchair's
Batteries
1. Press the “OFF” button of your Powerchair “Joystick Control” box.
2. Turn the switch on the end of the charger to “OFF”.
3. Plug the “three pin” plug, located at the opposite end of the charger to the
switch, into the receptacle located under the “Joystick Control” box making
sure the three pins align with the receptacle.
4. Plug the the AC power cable into a suitable outlet.
5. Turn the switch, on the end of the charger, to “ON”
6. There is a red light, located on the opposite end of the charger, that indicates
there is power and a yellow light that indicates charging is ongoing.
7. When the batteries have been fully charged the battery charger will
automatically stop .
8. When the charging is complete, remove the AC power cord from wall outlet
and gently pull out the cord from under the “Joystick Control” box.
WARNING
1. Do not smoke or use an open flame while your batteries are being charged.
2. Do no use an extension cord unless absolutely necessary. Use of an
improper extension cord could result in a risk of fire and electric shock.
3. Do not use the charger if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped or
otherwise misused in any way. Take it to a qualified technician.
4. Do not dismantle the charger. This will void the warranty.
5. Do not switch off, unplug or interrupt the recharge cycle until the
charging cycle has completed.
Make sure that the charger indicator light is
green before you unplug your charger.
FAILURE TO OBSERVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAN RESULT
IN DAMAGE TO THE BATTERIES .
