Changing a Tag Mode
TURNING A TAG ON IN TREKVIEW SOFTWARE
This function will place the tag in its next use, previously recorded data will be erased. The TrekView tag must be off in
order to perform these functions. Once the user has connected a tag, click the icon. You will see the following screen.
From the drop-down menu, select one of the following:
•
Select “
With Tag Button Press
” to place the tag in Standby mode.
OR
•
Select “
Immediately
” to place the tag in Soaking mode (programmed start delay). Once the soaking mode has
expired, the tag will begin recording.
OR
•
Select “
at Auto Awake Time
” to select a specifi c date and time for the tag to automatically begin recording.
Choose one of the following options to stop the tag:
•
Select “
Manually
” to scan the tag or press the on / off button to stop recording.
OR
•
Select “
At Auto Sleep Time
” to select a specifi c date and time for the tag to stop recording.
•
OR
•
Select “
After Auto Record Time
” to select a specifi c length of time for the tag to record.
Once the user has selected the desired settings, click “
Start
” and scan the tag simultaneously. A connected USB tag will
automatically receive the command. A green box in the lower-left corner that says “Passed” will appear, confi rming the ac-
tion was performed successfully. This check is a necessary step once the tag mode has been selected.
To place additional tags in start mode, it is not necessary to close out of the tag management screen.
Repeat the above two steps until all tags have been placed in Start mode.
