4.5. Error Insert Test
For error insert test, see Figure 4-6 as follows:

“Start time” refers to the time of system when the “Start” shortcut key is clicked on. “Duration” is
continual time keeping after “Start time”. After the running start, the start button changes to the exit
button. Click on the exit button to step the time keeping and running.
“Insert mode”: rate (default parameter)

with a default value of 1.0E-3.
Burst

scope of setup 0-8000, with a default value of 2000.
Repetitive burst

repetitive burst is 2000), hpB3 (the maximum value of burst or repetitive burst is 8000), hpREI (the
maximum value of burst or repetitive burst is 8000), lpB3 (the maximum value of burst or repetitive
burst is 8000), lpREI (the maximum value of burst or repetitive burst is 2000), lp3REI (the maximum
value of burst or repetitive burst is 8000), BIP2 (the maximum value of burst or repetitive burst is
2000). “Insert mode” can be rate, burst and repetitive burst, with a default value of B1.
Pattern

EBIT. “Insert mode” can be rate, burst and repetitive burst.
The “Set” shortcut key can set up all the input values or parameters. Once it is set up, “Insert
mode” changes to the current mode (insert error code) instead of the original mode with a display
on the upper part of the screen. Then, the ”Insert” shortcut key can implement the insert. Error insert
function is unavailable in PDH test mode.
