5.10 Waste discharge
After the maintenance of the instrument, carry out waste discharge to stabilize
emission.
1 Select
Prepare

Waste Discharge
on the menu bar.

2 Set the sample on the spark stand and hold it by the sample holder.
3 Start the discharge by pressing
1:Start
or the start button on the spark stand.
4 After repeating the discharge specified times,

Below are the recommended conditions for waste discharge.
No. of emissions:
5 times
(The number can be set between 5 and 20 according to the
discharge conditions. Increase the number for poor discharge
conditions.)
