Step 4 If the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) attribute is as shown in Figure 4-8, no change is required.
If the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) attribute is not as shown in Figure 4-10, select "Automati-
cally obtain an IP address" in "General".
Step 5 Click “ OK ” to complete the configuration.

Step 6 Click “ Start > Run ” , enter the “ cmd ” command in the input box of “ Run ” and press Enter.
Open the “ Run ” window, as shown in Figure 4-11.

Step 7 In the window of "Run", enter the command "ipconfig". For the configuration method of
the above two connections, the IP Address displayed in the "ipconfig" window is different:in
the specified IP configuration method, the IP Address shows the IP address entered in Figure
4-3, as shown in Figure 4-11. In the configuration method of automatically obtaining IP ad-
dress from the router DHCP, the IP Address is displayed as "2~254". The random number,
as shown in Figure 4-12. The window shown in Figure 4-12 shows that the IP configuration
is normal.
