8. Why the 1-channelvideo signal is not displayed in monitor or IE browser page (as shown in
Fig. 5-3)?
(1) Check whether the video line is well connected, or directly connect the video
line of camera with the monitor to check whether there are images.
(2) The camera or video line is wrong if there are no images. Please contact our
Technical Support Engineer if there are images.
9. Why H3526 MDVR fails to detect hard disk?
(1) Check whether hard disk is newly installed. The new hard disk can only be
detected after being formatted, as shown in Fig. 5-3.

(2) Check whether the hard disk format meets the requirements of H3526 MDVR.
Otherwise, please select “Device Management >Format The Storage”. Be
careful when performing the operation.
(3) If the hard disk cannot be detected after the above operation, then please
verify whether the hard disk is damaged. You can connect the hard disk to
other hardware, and the hard disk is damaged if it cannot be detected by other
devices.
10. Why can’t I login the IE interface of device after installing the device and finishing the local
configuration?
(1) Please verify whether the Ethernet address of device is correct. Please click
“DEF” button of device to recover the Ethernet address to factory default value
if the Ethernet address has been changed.
(2) Please ping the default Ethernet address in PC, and check whether the network
line connecting the device and PC is damaged if success but with serious loss.
Change the network line if the line is damaged. Otherwise, modulate the
Internet access of PC into 10MB full duplex.
(3) Please contact our Technical Support Engineer to position the problem if the
problem still exists after the above operation.

Configuration FAQ
1. There is no video but only a white page with “X” in the web interface of H3526 MDVR (as
shown in Fig. 5-4), why?
