H3526 MDVR supports the serial port communi ca tions of RS232 and RS485. com0 for RS485 serial port
and com1 for RS232 serial port.

4.6.2 Serial application
Background
Serial port functions can be switched for the actual external device of serial port in Serial
Applications interface.
DTU (Data Transfer Unit) is a data transmission function that transmits the collected data
to wireless network through the serial port, also known as “Transparent Transmission”.
H3526 MDVR can communicate with DTU.
Operation steps
Step 1 Click “External I/F> Serial Applications” to access “Serial Application” interface, as shown
in Fig. 4-28.
