Recording with the Guide
Frame
Available mode:
CARD-CAMERA
When your subject is a person, displaying
guide frames on the screen will give you a
gauge for deciding on the size of the subject’s
image.
Guide frame options
CLOSE-UP:
Displays a guide frame for
recording a person’s face in close-up.
PORTRAIT:
Displays a guide frame for
recording an upper-body view of a person.
FULL-BODY:
Displays a guide frame for
recording a full-body view of a person.

In CARD-CAMERA mode, display the
menu screen (see page 31).

Touch [

] or [

] to select “
W
”, and
then touch [SET]. Touch [

] or [

] to
select “GUIDE FRM”, and then touch
[SET].

Touch [

] to select “CLOSE-UP”,
“PORTRAIT”, or “FULL-BODY”, and
then touch [SET].
To turn off the guide frame
Select “OFF” and then touch [SET] in step 3
above.

Touch [RETURN] until the menu screen
turns off.
• The selected guide frame is displayed.
