DISCONNECT POWER CORD TO MOTOR BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY REPAIR OR INSPECTION.

Adjust belt tension so that belt does not slip on drive
pulley while cutting ( 1/2“ Min. deflection of belt under
moderate pressure.)

Excessive blade speed
Refer to Operating Instructions “Speed Selection”.
Improper blade
selection
Refer to Operating Instructions “Blade Selection”.
Cannot make

Dull blade
Replace blade.
Guide rollers not
adjusted properly

Rear vise jaw not
adjusted properly
Set fixed vise jaw 90
to blade.

Remove blade, turn blade inside out.
Re-install blade. (Teeth must point in direction of
travel. )
Hardened material
Use special alloy blades. (Consult your
industrial distributor for recommendation on type of
blade required.)
