[ Adjustment procedure ]
1. Using the R/C, set the LCD TV to adjustment mode.
2. Set the specified level (=255) for point MAX, and measure
maximum luminance (before W/B adjustment).
Set the MAX point of the gamma adjustment to 10 times
of the measured luminance (cd/m
2
).
3. Set the specified level for point 6, and measure the luminance.
Set the MID6 point of the gamma adjustment to 10 times of
the measured luminance (cd/m
2
). Set the initial value to R/G/B
of point 6. Fix the strongest color in R/G/B , and adjust other
2 colors by reducing value to get “target value” of point 6.
Adjust R/G/B repeatedly until converging to “target value”.
R6/G6/B6 is R/G/B adjustment value of point6.
4. "STEP2" adjustment
Measure the luminance of point6 after #3.
This luminance is Y
WB6.
It is corrected by the reference
spectroradio meter (e.g. SR-LEDW, SR-3) and the luminance
after correcting is Y
WB6-SR3
.
