5.2.2: Setting up the Shark® 100 - INP10 Meter for Ethernet Commu-
nication
Below are the Factory Default settings for the Shark® 100 - INP10 meter's Ethernet
card. These are programmed into the meter before it is shipped out from the factory.
Parameters in group 1 may need to be altered to satisfy the local Ethernet configura-
tion requirements.
Other parameters (2, 3, 4) should not be altered.
The Ethernet card in the Shark® 100 meter can be locally or remotely configured
using a Telnet connection over the network.
NOTE:
If you are using Windows
7, you need to enable Telnet
before using it:
1. Open the Control Panel.
2. Select Programs.
3. Select Turn Windows features
on or off.
4. Check the box for Telnet Client.
5. Click OK. The Telnet client is
now available.
