IV-3-4-2. Internal Server
The AP-300 features a built-in RADIUS server which
can be configured as shown below used when
“Internal” is selected for “RADIUS Type” in the “Wireless Settings”
“RADIUS”
“RADIUS Settings” menu.
To use RADIUS servers, go to
“Wireless Settings”
“Security”
and
select
“MAC RADIUS Authentication”
“Additional
Authentication”
and select
“MAC RADIUS Authentication”

).
Internal Server
Check/uncheck to enable/disable the AP-300’s
internal RADIUS server.
EAP Internal
Authentication
Select EAP internal authentication type from
the drop down menu.
EAP Certificate File
Format
Displays the EAP certificate file format:
PCK#12(*.pfx/*.p12)
EAP Certificate File
Click “Upload” to open a new window and
select the location of an EAP certificate file to
use. If no certificate file is uploaded, the
internal RADIUS server will use a self-made
certificate.
Shared Secret
Enter a shared secret/password for use
between the internal RADIUS server and
RADIUS client. The shared secret should be 1 –
99 characters in length. This should match the
“MAC-RADIUS” password used in
IV-3-1-3-6
or
IV-3-2-3
.
