Using ShaperTape
Using ShaperTape™
Origin uses ShaperTape to digitally augment your
workpiece. When you’re ready to cut with Origin,
lay down ShaperTape on the workpiece. For best
results, place strips of ShaperTape every three
inches or closer. Strips need not be parallel.
All tape must be coplanar with the surface you are
cutting to ensure the best tracking accuracy. Origin
should be able to glide across any tape you’ve
put down. Ensure that tape covers the area that
you plan to cut, as well as space a few inches in
front of your cut area so that Origin can always see
