The Blue Heat serial port expansion cards include static
sensitive components. Follow proper ESD procedures when
handling the cards.

Installing the Blue Heat serial adapter

1. Remove the cover from the PC.

2. Locate a vacant PCI slot and remove the rear panel cover.

Retain the rear panel cover screw.

3. Carefully align the card in the slot, and press it firmly into place.

4. Use the slot panel cover screw to secure the card’s retaining bracket to the PC

chassis.
