6. Setting of Parameter
All Parameters can be adjusted via the Interface. If
Metis MS/MI-WW
is
operated via a digital display and keyboard, all Parameter can be adjusted with
the button which is inside the device
if there is no display, settings can only be adjusted via Interface (RS232/485 and
optional „Profibus“ DB).
7. Miniature switches and menu-driven operation
To adjust the switches, loosen the four hex screws on the rear panel of the
device. Please use a 2.5 mm hex (Allen) wrench.
When you have loosened the four screws, it is possible to pull the rear panel like
a drawer. Inside you will find 10 miniature switches and a button.
Warning !
Use caution when you adjust the binary switches. Avoid any short
circuit in the unit, which can be caused by e.g. your screwdriver.
Short circuits will damage the device!
Please clean your device before you open it to avoid any contamination
The miniature switches S1-S7 don't have any function in the standard device and
should all be switched to “off”. These switches are required for “Profibus”
devices. If your device is equipped with „profibus“, please use the „profibus“
additional instruction manual !
