Resetting default camera settings
The configuration of the included camera is critical for the acquisition of qual-
ity images. In case of unwanted configuration changes, the camera can be re-
configured to a suitable state using the following procedure.
1. Restore default settings (‘Reset All…’ in ‘Camera Settings’ menu)
2. Switch the program selector switch (top of the camera, beside the ON/OFF
button) to ‘Manual’ mode (indicated by a camera icon)
3. Deactivate the flash (right of the multipurpose controller)
4. In the ‘Shooting settings’ menu:
(a) Set ‘AF Frame’ to ‘Center’
(b) Set ‘AF Frame Size’ to ‘Normal’
(c) Set ‘Digital Zoom’ to off
(d) Set ‘AF-Point Zoom’ to off
(e) Set ‘Servo AF’ to off
(f) Set ‘AF-assist Beam’ to off
(g) Set ‘Red-Eye Corr.’ to off (in the ‘Flash Settings…’ sub-menu)
(h) Set ‘Red-Eye Lamp’ to off (in the ‘Flash Settings…’ sub-menu)
(i) Set ‘i-Contrast’ to off
(j) Set ‘Review’ to off
(k) Set ‘Blink Detection’ to off
(l) Set ‘Grid Lines’ to off
(m) Set ‘IS Mode’ to off (in the ‘IS Settings…’ sub-menu)
(n) Set ‘Date Stamp’ to off
(o) Set ‘Face ID’ to off (in the ‘Face ID Settings…’ sub-menu)
5. In the ‘Camera Settings’ menu:
