4-5-3. USER ID
When connecting to the Self-Guard from a PC, you need the ID and the password for
the remote access program. The initial default IDs are from “user00” to “user07”, and
the passwords are “0000”. Move the cursor to the ID that you want to change for using
the [ ] and [ ], and press [ENT]. Then a new window appears to change the ID and

the password as below.
To change the ID and the password, follow the next steps:
Using [ ] and [ ] choose a letter or a number for your new

user ID and the password,
and the cursor moves to the next position as you press [
▷
]. Repeat to do so until you
fill up the new values, and complete changing your ID and the password. Once you put
in the new values for the password, enter the same password again to confirm the new
password.
You must press [ENT] to save the new ID and password. If you press [ESC] after
putting in the new values, then the new ID and the password cannot be saved.
