Communicating With the G304K2

Use SLC4074-1, Adapter, DB9 (SLC4075) to RJ45 (SLCnet) and a SLC4020-x of suitable length.

ii.

Use an Ethernet patch cable or SLC4073-1 Programming Cable

Communicating With the G307K2

Use SLC4074-2, Adapter, DB9 (SLC4075) to RJ45 (SLCnet) and a SLC4020-x of suitable length.

Use an Ethernet patch cable or SLC4073-1 Programming Cable

Communicating With any CR1000

Use SLC4074-3 single female or SLC4074-4 dual female, Adapter,RJ45 (SLC4075) to RJ45
(SLCnet) and an SLC4020-x of suitable length.

The SLC4074-4 accommodates terminating resistor assembly SLC4031 terminating resistor, a pair
is included for terminating both ends of the SLCnet, recommended for spans greater than 50 feet
or in harsh EMI environments.

PC Connection

Use “SLC4073-x” Programming Cable listed above Or

For CR1000, use either USB cable or Ethernet patch cable.

Device Communication

Use an SLC4020-x to communicate with SLC4000(S4K) master, SLC000 expansion units,
SLC4060 (PGW), and SLC4075 (TSGW) using the applicable adapter.

Setting the Switches

The switches have been preset for the Normal mode. The unit is pre-loaded with a default database.

The Clear Database position should not normally be required. Consult Selectronix Technical
Support before using this option.

Software/Unit Operation

Crimson Software 3.0 for G304 and Crimson 3.1 for CR1000 units.
