6-6. Functions by Menu Selection
6-6-1. Analog Scale Switching
The Analog Scale at the bottom of the Measuring screen graphically displays the latest
measurement value, values memorized, averaged values and exposure limits (range)
for exposure profile. The scale has two selectable modes: Measurement Scale and EV
Scale.
1. Press the Menu button

on the meter. (See
P21 for details.) to open the Menu screen.
2. Touch
[1. Set Analog Scale]
to display the
Set Analog Scale screen.
3. Touch the
[Measurement Scale]
radio
button or
[EV Scale]
radio button to select
the desired scale.
4. Touch the
[OK]
to return to the Menu screen.
Touch
[Cancel]
button to return to the
Measuring button without selection.
6-6-2. Exposure Compensation Function
Exposure compensation can be made in +/-9.9EV in 1/10 step increments. Exposure
compensation may be necessary when compensation for highlight, shadow in
reflected light, bellows, extension tube, etc is required.
When using the Exposure Compensation Function, first set the measuring mode
(incident light or reflected light). Compensation can be set independently for both
incident and reflected light.
Minus Compensation:
Making minus compensation will decrease the exposure (darker image).
Plus Compensation:
Making plus compensation will increase the exposure (brighter image).
Minus or plus compensation results can be opposite in the Custom Setting (See P51
for details)
1. Be sure that the Measuring method (incident
or reflected light) is selected.
2. Press the Menu button

P21 for details.) to open the Menu screen.
3. Touch the
[2. Set Exposure Compensation]
to display the keypad on the Set Exposure
Compensation screen.
4. Touch numbers on the keypad to input the
Exposure compensation value in EV (stops)
(See P13 for details) and the value will appear
in a box at the top of the display.
The input range is +/-9.9EV in 1/10 step
increments.
