9.4 Automatic Safety Warnings / Protection
9.4.1 Speed Limiter
The Trekker PT will automatically limit the maximum speed of the vehicle to keep you safe.
Depending
upon the programme mode, (beginner mode 8km/hr, and skilful mode 20km/hr), t
he normal speed
range can be adjusted up or down by the smartphone app – but I
f the speed is exceeded, the leansteer
bar of the Trekker PT will generate a pushback force to push the rider slightly backwards to stop the
vehicle from accelerating. When this happens, the rider must adjust their body to the leanst eer bar,
keeping at least a fist's distance from the leansteer bar. If the rider continues to lean forward and
presses on the leansteer bar, he may lose balance and fall down. The vehicle must always be in balance
with the rider.
