Pitch or Roll Angle Exceeded
If the Segway PT shuts down because a forward/backward (pitch), or
side (roll) tilt limit was exceeded, or no Rider Detect sensors were
depressed while the Segway PT was moving at speed, the icon
shown in
will appear on the InfoKey Controller.
The Segway PT is programmed to shut down in these situations
because the rider is not in control of the Segway PT.
To clear this condition, follow the instructions in the Recommended
Action column of
Table 18. Icons for Tilt Limits Exceeded
