2.0 Safety Instructions

Operation of system
General safety
instructions
The system has to be operated by authorized and trained per-
son nel only. The personnel must be healthy and must not have
taken any medication or other agents decreasing the reaction
time.
The ower is obliged to initiate measures to ensure that the
system is operated in safe and functioning condition only. This
includes that all protective functions such as the mains switch is
present and working.
All safety and protection instructions located at the system have
to be followed. The owner has to familiarize the personnel with
the relevant accident prevention regulations and the in struc tions
of the insurance associations providing by way of pension for
the long-term consequences of accidents at work. He has to
ensure that the regulations are complied with. The operating
personnel is responsible that only authorized persons work at
and with the system.
Any attempt to impair the system’s safety has to be refrained
from. All protection and warning equipment has to be tested for
proper functioning in regular intervals. Prior to turning the sys-
tem on, the operating personnel has to convince themselves
that no persons or objects are within the working range of the
system. In case of failure constituting a risk for persons, the
system, and/or the environment, the system has to be shut off
immediately.
Operation of the system can only be restarted if the failure re-
spon si ble for the interruption has been eliminated and persons,
system, and environment are no longer in danger. The operating
personnel is obliged to inform the owner or his re pre sen ta ti ve
about any changes at the system that might in
fl
uence the safety
ne ga tive ly.
For your own protection, use the recommended or required
personal protection equipment at your working place.
Don´t eat and drink at the working place, if you are working
with the gluing or soldering paste..
