INSTALLATION INFORMATION

3.0 INSTALLATION INFORMATION

The supplied units are to be installed in accordance to this manual, relevant local standards, acts and regulations.

The space in which the DU/SD unit is installed shall be ventilated to the extent required to ensure safe and effective 

operation. The unit shall also not be installed in a location that will affect the operation of mechanical devices used to 

displace air either within the same space or within a connected space.
DU/SD units shall be installed so that adjacent combustible surfaces are protected from damage resulting from thermal 

effects of their operation.
If there are existing gas appliances the it shall be confirmed that there is adequate capacity before connecting the DU/

SD unit.

Isolation of the gas and electrical supplies to the units shall be accessible and identifiable at all times.
