Competitor Ballast (5.14.6.1)
To achieve 5.14.2.i and iii ballast must be mounted behind the driver’s seat and fastened to the floor with
M10 bolts and mounting plates as described in Technical Regulations (5.14.6.3).
The Ballast weight must be mounted in a dimensional box that is at least 140mm from the inner sill panel
and 60 mm from the heel panel shown in diagram 53.

Car Ballast (5.14.6.2)
To achieve 5.14.2.ii ballast must be mounted in the area opposite the driver’s seat and fastened to the
floor with M10 bolts and mounting plates as described in Technical Regulation (5.14.6.3)
The ballast weight must be mounted in a dimensional box of 400mm x 400mm, that is at least 200mm
forward of the battery box and 30mm from the inner sill panel, shown in diagram 54.
