Bonnet Drain Hole 

When racing in very wet conditions or washing the car, the spark plug in cylinder number 4 can suffer from 
water ingress.  To help prevent the build up of water around the spark plug/coil pack the following 

modifications may be carried out. 

 

Adhesive foil tape may be used to seal the drain hole in the underside of the bonnet (marked ‘A’ in diagram 
18).  The use of a body sealer is permitted around the retaining clips of the bonnet trim (SEAT Sport UK Part 

No.: 1P0 854699 H).  No other modification will be authorised.
