Coolant Including Antifreeze (5.7.4.2 & 5.7.4.5)
Choice of engine antifreeze manufacturer is free.
Engine Coolant level should be between Minimum and Maximum mark on Coolant Header Tank.
Always run the engine until the fan cuts in after refilling and before driving.
The thermostat is a re-circulating type and should not be removed.
Engine Oil Level (5.7.4.3)
When entering the circuit at the start of an Official Test, qualifying session or race the engine oil level must
be at the maximum level. The oil level shall remain between the two marks in the oil dipstick as shown in
diagram 20.
The dipstick length is 520mm from underside of top cap.

Mandatory engine oil type and manufacture is T.B.C.
SEAT Sport UK recommends that Engine oil should be replaced after every Meeting. The quantity needed to
fill the engine with oil filter replacement is 4.5 litres. It is recommended to change the oil filter each time
the engine oil is changed.
For the avoidance of doubt oil additives, including friction reducers, are prohibited (5.7.4.2).
