Advanced Features 

ADVANCED FEATURE CAPABILITY 

Modules with version “2” or higher support several Advanced Features. You may determine the version of 
your SeaIO device using the MODBUS command FUNC_SEAMAX_GET_EXTENDED_INFO (0x66), using the 
SeaMAX method SM_GetDeviceConfig(), or by viewing the Module Description in MaxSSD, shown below. 

 

 

 

 
FIRMWARE UPGRADING 

In the event that a newer version of the firmware is available, it is possible to upgrade the firmware in the 
unit. This can be done through the same port that is used to do normal communications with the unit. The 
unit must be directly connected to the programming computer.
